Connection Resources

One Heart One Voice is about helping church leaders grow together in unity, why not try some of our ideas?

Tell other church leaders what you are doing

How about sharing some of the activities and ideas that your church is involved in, with other churches across our network?

The One Heart One Voice List Service is a powerful communication tool that allows leaders to broadcast information to other leaders who are part of the network. It enables leaders to send email, from their own email address, to a dedicated mailing list address, that email is then distributed to all the addresses subscribed to the list.

How it works

To send an email message to our Leaders Email List, you need to be a member of the One Heart One Voice Network (or have your email address authorized by our team). Members may send a message to the Leaders Email List by emailing:

one-heart-one-voice@jubileetrust.org

Your message will be sent from your own email address, and other leaders in the network will be able to reply to you directly.

The One Heart One Voice email list is designed for Ministers and Senior leaders, and therefore the content of emails should be appropriate to this audience. If a message fails to meet the criteria, the message may be discarded by the list administrator.

Content tips

Try and consider the content of your message, and the appropriateness of your message for other church leaders across the Borough (for example, there is little point in inviting leaders from across the network to your Sunday services!).

  • Messages should be addressed appropriately such as”Dear Leaders” or “Dear All” (no forwarding of personal messages)
  • Please use a clear subject line to describe your message (use a creative subject line that will attract the reader, please do not just forward messages)

If your message is time sensitive, for example advertising an event, please submit at least 14 days prior (although messages are moderated regularly, moderation can be subject to holidays and staff availability)

Technical tips

Here are some technical tips to help you use the system:

  • Messages should be drafted in plain text (no colours, fancy fonts or special signatures)
  • Please don’t use any attachments or images (you can include links within your email to attachments or images stored on-line)
  • Please send the message from your own email address to one-heart-one-voice@jubileetrust.org (we cannot send your message for you)

If your message is time sensitive, for example advertising an event, please submit at least 14 days prior (although messages are moderated regularly, moderation can be subject to holidays and staff availability)

Get involved with us in the unity journey

There are some easy ways that you can help perfect unity where you are. Why not try some of our suggestions?

Working with a neighboring church who you get on with is partnership, as is working with churches within your own stream. Partnerships are good, and can be fruitful, but, we need to look beyond partnership. We are looking at a unity that is prayerful and relational, and reaches out way beyond our comfort zones, often connecting with those who are not like us.
